Cuban Coffee Queen

Updated: Oct 20, 2018

I spent the past week in paradise, Key West, Florida. The only thing that pairs better with sun than sand is a bold cup of iced coffee.

As soon as I got to Key West, I had several people tell me that I needed to try Cuban Coffee Queen. While on a stroll along Duval, we made our stop to this little tropical coffee hideaway

The hot weather made the Iced Coffee the perfect drink on the menu. Their Iced Coffee is a Cuban Coffee with milk and coffee ice cubes. If you are a regular member of the Brew Crew, you would know that I love coffee ice cubes. They are the best way to keep your iced coffee from getting watered down. This is extremely necessary in the heat of Key West so I am so happy they use them!

They also roast their own beans. Their coffee is bold and delicious down to the last drop. While their regular traditional Cuban coffee may be too strong for some new coffee drinkers, they also have medium roast coffee. I brought some of the medium roast home to New Jersey. While you lose the amazing island atmosphere, the coffee is still absolutely delicious. I recommend this place to everyone traveling to Key West!
